Have Simultaneous Orgasms with the
Coital Alignment Technique
By Great Sex Coach Cynthia Perkins, M.Ed.
The coital alignment technique also known as the CAT increases stimulation to the clitoris and thus increases the chance that your woman will not only orgasm with intercourse, but that both of you can achieve orgasm together.
Lot's of couples would to like have simultaneous orgasms, but more often than not this just doesn't happen. It's not because your doing something wrong, this is very common. Differences in anatomy and biology make this the rule rather than the exception.

Most women don't orgasm through intercourse alone, because it doesn't provide adequate stimulation to the clitoris.
Basically the coital alignment technique is a variation of the missionary position with male on top and face to face with his woman, but differs from the standard missionary in that the male will penetrate the woman from a higher angle than usual and instead of thrusting in and out the movement is a rocking up and down.
The technique was designed by psychotherapist Edward Eichel.
If you're the hands on kind of person and want to learn more about this exciting technique and how it can help you have better orgasms, you may want to take a look at The CAT Technique DVD. It's described in great detail and illustrated. Or read on for a review of the basics.
How to do the Coital Alignment Technique
The male approaches the female in the traditional missionary position, but then after entering the vagina, lifts himself forward towards the females head so that the base of the penis rubs on the clitoris.
The man rides high as I described above and applies direct and continuous pressure to the clitoris. The woman rocks and presses her hips upwards as the male presses his hips down against her.
For deeper penetration the woman can wrap her legs around his thighs or her ankles around his calves.
Movement in the coital alignment position is a rocking up and down, not an in and out thrusting. This rocking movement is what stimulates the clitoris.
The key is not to thrust, but to apply continuous pressure and counter pressure to massage the clitoris and the base of the penis with a gentle rocking.
The stimulation to the males base of the penis produces more powerful orgasms for him and the stimulation of the clitoris for the woman not only allows her to orgasm with intercourse but also produces a more powerful orgasm for her as well.
If the man is much heavier than the woman the reverse coital alignment technique with the woman on top can be just as effective.
It may take a bit of practice to learn and achieve so just relax and don't force an orgasm. Remember there are plenty of ways to enjoy intense sexual pleasure. Orgasm is only part of the experience. Appreciating the different sensations throughout the process is also just as satisfying. Have fun together learning and exploring.
